Building Infrastructure That Scales With Your Ambitions

From bare metal to Kubernetes clusters — over a decade of engineering the systems that keep businesses running.

Maxim Cujba

Senior DevOps Engineer

I started my career in 2012 at Moldtelecom's Network Operations Center, where I learned that every second of downtime costs more than any amount of prevention. That lesson stuck.

Over the next decade, I moved through increasingly complex environments — from managing Cisco and Juniper networks at Orange Moldova, to building containerized platforms at SaltEdge, to deploying Kubernetes clusters across hybrid clouds at EBS Integrator. Along the way, I picked up certifications not as résumé padding, but because each one solved a real problem I was facing at work.

Today, I serve as Senior DevOps Engineer for DuoCircle (San Diego, CA), where I manage production infrastructure handling millions of requests daily. In parallel, I run Skynet Hosting SRL, providing DevOps consulting and infrastructure services to companies that need senior-level expertise without the overhead of a full-time hire.

My approach is simple: understand the business problem first, then engineer the smallest solution that solves it reliably.

Certified. Verified. Battle-Tested.

Every certification I earned was to solve a real engineering challenge — not to decorate a wall.

No Surprises. No Black Boxes.

  1. Discovery

We start with a conversation, not a quote. What does your infrastructure look like today? What's breaking? What's keeping you up at night? We ask the uncomfortable questions early so there are no surprises later.

  2. Architecture

Before writing a single line of Terraform, we map out the target state. Network diagrams, cost projections, migration paths, rollback plans. You see everything before we touch anything.

  3. Implementation

Infrastructure as Code, always. Every change is version-controlled, peer-reviewed, and deployed through CI/CD. No SSH-and-pray. No undocumented changes.

  4. Handoff & Support

We document everything. Runbooks, architecture decisions, monitoring dashboards. When the engagement ends, you own a system you can maintain — or we stay on for ongoing managed services.

The Journey

  1. 2012–2013

    Moldtelecom

    Technical Support & NOC Engineer

First taste of production systems, incident management, and the weight of an SLA.

  2. 2016–2021

    Orange Moldova

Senior Network/System Administrator → IT Network Team Lead

Five years managing enterprise-grade Cisco, Juniper, and FortiGate infrastructure. Built monitoring stacks with Nagios, Zabbix, and Cacti. Deployed RADIUS/TACACS+ authentication systems.

  3. 2021–2022

First deep dive into container orchestration, Chef provisioning, and AWS cloud services.

  4. 2022–2023

    Gilat Satellite Networks

    DevOps Engineer

Kubernetes and Docker in regulated environments. Satellite infrastructure has zero tolerance for "it works on my machine."

  5. 2022–2023

    AlexHost

    Chief Technology & Operations Officer

Led cross-functional teams, aligned IT strategy with business objectives. Understood margins, capacity planning, and the cost of technical debt.

  6. 2023–2024

    EBS Integrator

    Senior DevOps Engineer

Built GitOps workflows with ArgoCD, deployed Kubernetes on Proxmox and public clouds. Reduced infrastructure setup time by 50% through Ansible and Terraform automation.

Skynet Hosting SRL

DevOpsFlow is the consulting and engineering arm of Skynet Hosting SRL, a Moldova-based IT company operating under the Moldova IT Park program. We hold our own Autonomous System (AS48296) and maintain direct relationships with upstream providers — because we don't just configure infrastructure, we understand it from the wire up.

We partner with companies across the United States, Switzerland, and the European Union, delivering DevOps engineering, cloud architecture, and infrastructure automation. Whether you're running a three-server setup or orchestrating workloads across multiple cloud providers, we bring the same rigor and attention to reliability.

Registered in Chișinău, Moldova — operating globally.

Our Values

  • We Build What We'd Want to Inherit

Every engineer has inherited someone else's infrastructure nightmare. We build systems with the next person in mind — documented, automated, and predictable.

  • We Optimize for Reliability, Not Complexity

The most elegant solution is often the simplest one that meets the requirements. We don't add Kubernetes to a problem that needs a cron job.

  • We Communicate Like Adults

No jargon walls. No hiding behind tickets. If something's broken, you'll hear it from us before you notice it yourself. If a timeline slips, you'll know why.

  • We Earn Trust Through Transparency

Our infrastructure code lives in Git. Our monitoring dashboards are shared. Our invoices are clear. Trust isn't built with NDAs — it's built with access.
